Water Supply and Quality ranks third on the list of issues of concern. This level of concern was, frankly, something of a surprise, but the drought has obviously increased the level of concern on this issue. Of those surveyed, 42% said water supply and quality was a “high priority” for them.

In light of the drought, Utah Foundation wrote two research reports in 2002 on the subject of water pricing, conservation, and the evolution of water policy in the state.
