Utah Foundation bids a fond farewell to Thulasi Seshan. While at Utah Foundation, Thulasi primarily worked on a research report about education funding for certain student populations. She enjoyed being able to contribute to policy writing on such an important subject. She also enjoyed being able to delve into the world of making graphs.
Thulasi just finished her last exam of her junior year at the University of Utah and is reveling in post-finals bliss. She’s majoring in geography with minors in ecology and physics, and enjoys learning about just about everything. That was her favorite part about being an intern at the Utah Foundation – the ability to learn weird and interesting information pertaining to a ton of different topics.
Before interning at Utah Foundation, Thulasi had a range of jobs, from interning at the British Parliament to selling chocolate at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
Thulasi will be interning this summer for the BLM in Washington D.C., and will then come back to the U and finish up her last year as an undergrad. She hopes to work in policy and then go on to graduate school.
We’ll certainly miss her.
